About the role
Travel nursing assignment in Ottumwa, Iowa. 48 hours per week, 12-hour day shifts (9 a.m.–9 p.m.). Start as soon as possible; Monday or Tuesday starts available. Specify 36 or 48 hours per week preference at submission. 17-bed emergency room with approximately 40 visits per day. Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:6. Primarily adult and geriatric patients. 24/7 call coverage required.
Responsibilities
- Provide emergency nursing care in a 17-bed ER with ~40 daily visits
- Adhere to a 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratio
- Cover 24/7 call shifts as needed
- Document in MediTech EMR
Requirements
- 2+ years of acute-care experience
- 2+ years of travel nursing experience
- BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications required
- Iowa SING background check required
