  • Unit staffing description: (unit secretaries and tech availability)
  • Type of equipment: Crash Carts, Level One, Alaris Pumps, Dash bedside cardiac monitors
  • Documentation system: MediTech
  • Scheduling requirements: 4wk schedule posts 2wks prior to start date, preferred three 12hr shifts/wk
  • Floating policy: ER hold unit while at capacity, rare during summer months
  • Patient Experience requirements: 30-1hr patient rounding and bedside shift report

Certifications

  • ACLS
  • BLS
  • PALS

Advanced Skills Needed

Assist in intubation and emergency lifesaving procedures. Procedures performed on unit: Chest tubes, Moderate sedation, LP, laceration repair, blood products

Request Skills
