Travel Nurse RN - ED - Emergency Department - $2,605 per week

About the role

Travel assignment for a Registered Nurse – Emergency Department in Syracuse, New York. Start date 09/25/2026; 16-week contract, 36 hours per week, 12-hour day shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for patients with acute illness or trauma requiring emergency attention and recognize life-threatening conditions.
• Assess, intervene, and stabilize a variety of trauma and illnesses with decisive action.
• Demonstrate knowledge of general and specific health issues relevant to emergency care.
• Apply triage principles to prioritize injuries based on medical need.
• Make rapid, accurate assessments of incoming patients, including physical and mental health conditions.

Requirements

• Active RN license.
• Degree from an accredited nursing program.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC may be required by the client facility.
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an acute-care Emergency Room setting.
