Med Ninjas is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in St Johnsbury, Vermont.Job Description & RequirementsSpecialty: ED - Emergency DepartmentDiscipline: RNStart Date: ASAPDuration: 13 weeks36 hours per weekShift: 12 hours, daysEmployment Type: TravelJob Summary (List Format): Emergency Department RN Traveler - Provide direct nursing care to patients in a busy, rural Emergency Department with over 15,000 annual visits. - Rapidly assess, prioritize, and manage a wide variety of acute illnesses, injuries, and emergencies. - Collaborate closely with physicians, advanced practice providers, EMS personnel, and interdisciplinary care teams. - Manage multiple patient needs simultaneously in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. - Accurately document assessments, interventions, and outcomes in accordance with hospital policies and regulatory standards. - Adhere to evidence-based emergency nursing practices and promote patient safety and quality care. - Utilize strong clinical judgment and the ability to work independently in a rural setting. - Employ and quickly learn Meditech EMR system (preferred). - Maintain required credentials: Vermont or Compact RN license, BLS, ACLS, and PALS; TNCC preferred. - Minimum three years of Emergency Department RN experience required. - Adapt to rural lifestyle requirements, including reliable personal transportation and self-secured housing. - Meet all credentialing and vaccination requirements prior to start date.Med Ninjas Job ID #19414.
