Job Summary
The Emergency Room (ER) Nurse position in Bismarck, North Dakota involves providing high-quality trauma and emergency patient care in a level 2 trauma center. The ER team manages a diversified patient population, including critical situations such as strokes, cardiac arrests, and traumatic injuries, utilizing advanced charting and monitoring systems.
Job Details
- Schedule: Straight nights shift, 12 hours per shift, starting at 5:00pm, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
Required Qualifications
- Valid licensure to practice as a registered nurse, with a minimum of 2 years of emergency nursing experience.
- Necessary certifications include ACLS, TNCC, PALS, NIHSS, and BLS.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a level 2 trauma center and familiarity with EPIC electronic charting system.
Additional Information
- The ER is a 23-bed unit that handles approximately 110 patients daily. Nurses will work in teams of 4-5 patients, with staff wearing navy blue scrubs.
- Orientation includes a week of skills training and charting at the LEAD center, complemented by department preceptor shifts.

Pay Package
The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
