Required Qualifications: Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) or similar certification; minimum one year of experience in an emergency department setting; current licensure to practice as a healthcare professional in Hawaii; experience working in an emergency department environment. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with float duties to Long Term Care or Intensive Care Units; ability to meet the target start date of 08/10/2026; familiarity with departmental SOPs and emergency protocols. Additional Information: Position requires a mandatory two (2) years of emergency department experience, with a potential extension of thirteen weeks. Shifts are variable, with a minimum of 36 hours per week, averaging over 80 hours bi-weekly. Flexibility to float to other departments such as Long Term Care or ICU is required. The position may include working during holidays such as New Years Day, Independence Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas Day. Upon confirmation, communication with the facility through the Medefis portal to provide date of arrival and remaining compliance items is necessary.
