Travel Nurse RN - ED - Emergency Department - $2,439 per week

About the role

TotalMed RN is seeking an Emergency Room RN for an immediate travel nursing assignment in Beverly, Massachusetts. The position is a 13‑week, 36‑hour‑per‑week role with 12‑hour night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, triage, and implement care using correct procedures and physician instructions
• Perform minor medical operations
• Advise patients and families on illnesses or injuries
• Plan long‑term care needs
• Document medical history
• Check for patient allergies
• Obtain patient vital signs
• Monitor patients’ emotional and physical well‑being
• Provide basic bedside care
• Clean and bandage wounds
• Provide IV therapy
• Maintain supplies and medical equipment
• Report suspected abuse to appropriate agencies

Requirements

• ACLS certification
• BLS certification
• PALS certification
• 1‑2 years of recent acute care experience
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, bend, lean, and stoop without difficulty
• Capable of lifting 20 lb routinely and up to 50 lb when moving or lifting patients
• Good stress‑coping skills and ability to relate to patients of all ages and backgrounds

Pay

Pay package is based on 12‑hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
