Travel Nurse RN - ED - Emergency Department - $2,420 per week
Emergency Room Nurse travel assignment in Newport, Vermont. This position requires a motivated Registered Nurse with 3 to 5 years of emergency room experience.
About the role
13-week travel nursing assignment at a 25-bed Critical Access hospital in the Northeast Kingdom, an area known for outdoor activities such as hiking, skiing, fishing, and snowmobiling. The role involves rotating day shifts (11:00 AM–11:00 PM or 1:00 PM–1:00 AM) including every other weekend. Guaranteed minimum of 72 hours per bi-weekly pay period. Personal transportation is strongly recommended due to limited public transit. Attendance at quarterly education sessions is required.
Responsibilities

Requirements
- Valid nursing license
- 3–5 years of emergency room experience
- Ability to adapt to rotating shift schedules

Pay
Pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
Schedule
- 13-week assignment starting on or after 08/31/2026
- 12-hour day shifts (rotating between 11:00 AM–11:00 PM or 1:00 PM–1:00 AM)
- 36 hours per week, minimum 72 hours per bi-weekly pay period
- Every other weekend required
