Job Summary
Lynchburg, Virginia Emergency Room RN. This assignment involves working in a busy emergency department with a trauma level 2 or 1 designation. The role requires prior travel experience and active VA or Compact licensure. The position includes evening shifts from 3:00 PM to 3:00 AM, with a schedule of 12 hours per shift and a minimum of 36 hours per week.
Shift Details
- Evenings, 3:00 PM – 3:00 AM
- 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Assignments end on Saturday; must work every other weekend
Required Qualifications
- At least 3 years of emergency department experience in a similar-sized ED with trauma level 2 or 1 experience
- Active VA or Compact license
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC
- Trauma certification such as ATCN, TNCC, or ATLC
- CPI certification required before start date
- All required RTO documentation must be included at submission
Additional Requirements
- Prior Cerner experience strongly preferred
- Locals within 60 miles are not accepted
- IVS approval required from the manager
- Client may cancel up to 36 hours before the assignment due to census fluctuations
- COVID/Flu declination is accepted
- Travel is required; float rotation is not expected
