Job Summary

This role involves providing high-quality emergency care in a busy healthcare environment. The nurse will collaborate with other health care professionals to deliver timely and effective patient care according to established protocols.

Job Details

  • Schedule: Nights, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week

Required Qualifications

  • Valid registered nurse license in the state where care is provided, recent (within the last 3 years) full-time equivalent experience
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program
  • Certifications including Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within 6 months of hire

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing or related field
  • Certification in Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN)
  • Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)
  • Demonstrated ability to recognize and interpret cardiac dysrhythmias
  • NIH Stroke Scale Certificate

Additional Information

This position requires rapid assessment and intervention in emergency situations, adherence to SOPs, and excellent communication skills to coordinate patient care effectively.
