Travel Nurse RN - ED - Emergency Department - $2,324 per week

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN for the Emergency Department in Bemidji, Minnesota. This is a 13‑week assignment requiring 36 hours per week on 12‑hour night shifts. Job ID #1510897.

Responsibilities

• Work with a diverse team to evaluate, triage and implement care using correct procedures and physician instructions.
• Perform minor medical operations, advise patients and family on illnesses or injuries, and plan long‑term care needs.
• Document medical history, check for allergies, obtain vital signs, and monitor patients’ emotional and physical well‑being.
• Provide basic bedside care, clean and bandage wounds, provide IV therapy, maintain supplies and medical equipment.
• Report suspected abuse to appropriate agencies.
• Stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean and stoop without difficulty; lift up to 20 lb routinely and up to 50 lb when moving patients.
• Cope with stress in a fast‑paced environment and relate to people of all ages and backgrounds.

Requirements

• 1‑2 years recent acute care experience.
• Current ACLS, BLS, NRP certifications (additional certifications may be required before assignment).

Schedule

• 12‑hour night shifts.
• 36 hours per week.
• 13‑week duration.
