Travel Nurse RN - ED - Emergency Department - $2,304 per week

Alliance Services, Inc. is seeking a travel nurse RN for the Emergency Department in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

About the role

• 12-week assignment starting 08/17/2026
• 36 hours per week, 12-hour day shifts
• Travel position with a $500 contract completion bonus
• Estimated gross weekly pay: $2,304
• Weekend rotation every other weekend
• No call required
• Work 2 out of 4 major holidays or every other holiday
• Orientation consists of 2 twelve-hour shifts on the unit

Responsibilities

• Work in a fast-paced emergency department with patient ratios of 1:4 (acuity-based) for day and night shifts, and 1:6 for fast track
• Treat patients ranging from neonates to geriatrics across all ED diagnoses, including a heavy mental health patient population
• Manage invasive neuro and STEMI cases requiring cath lab stabilization and transfer
• Handle trauma cases including gunshot wounds, stabbings, falls, and motor vehicle collisions
• Perform cardiac rhythm interpretation, IV skills, critical care drip management, medication administration, NIHSS assessments, TPA administration, blood administration, procedural sedation, and code blue response
• Triage experience strongly preferred
• Charting system: EPIC
• Equipment: Alaris, Pyxis
• Scrub color: Any color, professional

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of emergency department experience in a fast-paced facility
• First-time travelers considered with strong experience
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC

About the facility

This facility is a Level IV Trauma Center and Level III NICU with 228 beds, serving as a teaching hospital and Geriatric Accredited Center. The emergency department features 35 beds and 6 fast track rooms, seeing an average of 168 patients per day. It is recognized as an Advanced Comprehensive Stroke Center and provides around-the-clock support including unit secretaries, ED techs, charge nurses, respiratory therapy, ED physicians, mid-level providers, an ED educator, and security personnel maintaining a locked unit.
