Job Summary

The Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse (RN) position is available in Freeport, Illinois. This role involves providing urgent care to a diverse patient population, including neonates to geriatrics, with a focus on critical and emergent conditions.

Job Details

• Location: Freeport, Illinois
• Shift: 12-hour shifts, including nights and weekends, with flexibility to rotate start times.
• Typical shifts include 7p-7a, 7a-7p, 10-10, 11-11p, 12-midnight, and 7p-7a.
• Minimum Hours Per Week: 36.0 hours

Qualifications

• Valid Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license required to submit.
• Certifications include Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC), Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) or National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS).
• A minimum of 3 years of ER experience with moderate sedation and experience handling critical care drips is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency care.
• Perform blood draws with phlebotomy experience.
• Assist with wound care.
• Transport and patient comfort measures.

Pay Package

The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
