Travel Nurse RN - ED - Emergency Department - $2,235 per week
Job Summary
The Emergency Room (ER) Nurse position involves providing critical care to diverse patient populations, including cardiac and stroke patients, with a focus on rapid assessment and intervention. The position is scheduled for night shifts, ensuring coverage during high-demand periods and supporting 24/7 operations of the healthcare provider.
Position Description
Responsible for caring for patients in a high-volume ER environment, managing cardiac and telestroke cases, and working alongside a multidisciplinary team. Must be proficient in IV skills and lab drawing, with the ability to handle approximately 20 patients daily, especially during flu season.
Required Qualifications
- Emergency Room (ER) specialty
- Licensure to submit
- Certifications including ACLS (AHA or ARC), BLS (AHA or ARC), NIHSS, PALS, TNCC
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in emergency care
- Scheduled night shifts from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM
- Minimum of 36 hours per week
Additional Information
- The unit features 2 triage beds, 5 treatment beds, and 1 trauma bay, with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4.
- Cross-training between ER and Med Surg holds may be required.
- The shift schedule includes some swing shifts from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM and every other to every third weekend.

Pay Package
The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
