About the role
Emergency Room (ER) Nurse responsible for delivering age-specific, direct patient care within the emergency department. The RN provides nursing care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process and within the framework of the Department of Nursing Standards of Patient Care and Emergency Room Specific Standards of Patient Care. Leadership responsibilities include delegation of work to other levels of employees, with compliance to all applicable State and Federal laws, regulations, and policies governing healthcare provision.
Responsibilities
- Delivery of age-specific, direct patient care in the ER setting, utilizing the Nursing Process and departmental standards.
Requirements
- Active BLS (Basic Life Support)
- Active ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- Active TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
- Active PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
- Active ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course)
- Active NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
- De-escalation certification
- At least 1 year of healthcare experience
- All certifications must be active prior to the start date, or a renewal plan must be in place

- Days shift
- 12-hour shifts
- Minimum of 36 hours per week
