TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN for the Emergency Department in Macomb, Illinois. The assignment starts 11/09/2026, lasts 13 weeks, with 36 hours per week on 12‑hour night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, triage and implement care using correct procedures and physician instructions.
• Perform minor medical operations.
• Advise patients and family on illnesses or injuries.
• Plan long‑term care needs.
• Document medical history and check for allergies.
• Obtain patient vital signs.
• Monitor patients' emotional and physical well‑being.
• Provide basic bedside care.
• Clean and bandage wounds.
• Provide IV therapy.
• Maintain supplies and medical equipment.
• Report suspected abuse to appropriate agencies.

Requirements

• RN license.
• 1‑2 years recent acute care experience (preferred).
• ACLS, BLS, PALS certifications.
• Ability to stand/walk for long periods, bend, lean, stoop, lift 20 lb (up to 50 lb when moving patients).
• Good stress‑coping skills and ability to relate to diverse patients.
