Travel Nurse RN - ED - Emergency Department - $2,170 per week

Emergency Room Registered Nurse position in Spokane, Washington. This role involves providing specialized patient care in a Level 3 Trauma Center with a busy ER environment. The position requires the ability to manage a diverse patient population with a variety of acuity levels, emphasizing teamwork and clinical expertise.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized patient care in a Level 3 Trauma Center emergency department
• Manage diverse patient population with varying acuity levels
• Perform resuscitation, conscious sedations, and manage lines/drains/tubes
• Utilize EPIC electronic medical record system
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team including CNA/ER Techs, receptionists, charge nurses, resource nurses, RTs, and hospitalists

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in a Level 3 or higher trauma center
• Valid BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications
• MOAB/CPI certification (or ability to start without it)
• EPIC electronic medical record experience
• General ER skills and ability to work in a high-stress environment

Preferred Qualifications

• PALS or ENPC certification
• TNCC or ATCN certification

Schedule

• Night shifts, 12 hours per shift
• Minimum 36 hours per week
• Assignment duration: 21 weeks
• Start date: 09/08/2026

Orientation

• 1 week general orientation
• 24 weeks unit orientation with preceptor support
• Includes NEO and 1-2 shifts with preceptor

Unit Details

• Level 3 Trauma Center with busy ER environment
• Team includes 2-4 CNA/ER Techs per shift, receptionists/HUC, charge nurses, resource nurses, RTs, and hospitalists
• Phlebotomy performed by RN (techs can do straight stick IV/VAT)
• Bedside or centralized telemetry monitoring available
• 1:1 support model for Critical Access Patients
• Technology: EPIC EMR, Alaris IV pumps, Pyxis medication dispensing system, bedside and centralized monitors
• Professional/solid color scrubs acceptable
