Unit Specifics

  • Number of Beds: 32 Main ED, 10 FSED, 12 FSEDCost Center: 780, 782, 787
  • Length of contract: 13 weeks
  • Shift: Depends on Contract
  • Patient Ratios: 4:1
  • Unit staffing description: Team nursing, Paramedics and EMT’s, Dedicated Unit Secretary
  • Type of equipment: Documentation system: Epic
  • Scheduling requirements: 4 Weekend shifts in a 4 week period Floating policy: None except between main ED and FSED’s
  • Scheduling expectations: On Call Expectations: None
  • Weekend Requirement: As above

Requirements

  • Must have: Ability to multi task and be flexible. A good attitude a must!
  • Procedures performed on unit: Intubation, chest tubes, central lines
  • Certifications Required: RN License, ACLS & BLS, PALSTNCC or ENPCCP
  • Dress Code: Caribbean Blue scrubs
