About the role
Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse (RN) position in a rural community hospital’s emergency department. The role involves providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on geriatric and pediatric populations. The shift is scheduled overnight, and the candidate will contribute to a dedicated team committed to delivering safe, patient-centered care.
Schedule
- 12-hour night shifts (1900–0700)
- Minimum of 36 hours per week
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality emergency nursing care in a 16-bed unit with patient ratios dependent on census
- Utilize the Meditech electronic health record system
- Collaborate effectively with the night-shift team
Requirements
- Valid ACLS, PALS, and BLS certifications
- Minimum of 2 years of ER nursing experience
- Experience in a rural community hospital setting preferred
Preferred Qualifications
- Charge nurse experience
- Familiarity with emergency department workflows
