This position involves providing acute emergency care in a Level III Trauma Center emergency department. The role requires managing a variety of patient conditions, including psychiatric and chronic respiratory cases, while ensuring compliance with safety and operational protocols. Job Details Position: Emergency Room (ER) Nurse Shift Time: Nights Shift Hours & Minimum Weekly Hours: 12-hour shifts, scheduled as per unit needs, with a minimum of 36 hours per week. Required Qualifications: Valid drivers license; BLS, ACLS, PALS, & NIHSS certifications; 2 years of ER experience; willingness to wait for license submission; licensed to practice in the state. Preferred Qualifications: TNCC certification is preferred. Additional Responsibilities: Respond quickly to emergency situations using in-house RT equipment (vents, Cpap, BiPap, etc.), transfer radiology results, manage holds, and participate in unit orientation. Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, with weekend and holiday work as scheduled; up to 2 shifts may be canceled per 13-week assignment or 1 shift per shorter assignment. Experience or Skills: Must have at least 2 years of ER experience, with successful prior travel assignment, and some critical care background is preferred but not required. Additional Notes: Experience with triage and ESICare applications preferred. Experience with EPIC charting system is required.
