Travel Nurse RN - ED - Emergency Department - $2,003 per week

About the role

Travel nurse RN Emergency Department position in Phoenix, Arizona. Start date October 19, 2026, 13‑week assignment, 36 hours per week on 12‑hour night shifts. Immediate opening for an RN with 1‑2 years of recent acute care experience.

Responsibilities

• Work with a diverse team to evaluate, triage and implement care using correct procedures and physician instructions.
• Perform minor medical operations.
• Advise patients and family on illnesses or injuries and plan long‑term care needs.
• Document medical history, check for allergies, obtain vital signs, and monitor patients’ emotional and physical well‑being.
• Provide basic bedside care.
• Clean and bandage wounds.
• Provide IV therapy.
• Maintain supplies and medical equipment.
• Report suspected abuse to appropriate agencies.

Requirements

• Current RN license.
• ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, NIH, ENPC certifications.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience (as indicated in the posting).
• 1‑2 years of recent acute care experience preferred.

Skills

• Ability to stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean and stoop without difficulty.
• Capable of lifting 20 lbs routinely and up to 50 lbs when moving or lifting patients.
• Good stress‑coping skills and ability to relate to patients of all ages and backgrounds.
