Unit information

• Number of beds: 32
• Number of staff: 60
• Day shift: 1 charge RN, 3 RNs, 2 EMT/Medics
• Midshift: 5 RNs throughout the day, 1 midshift medic
• Night shift: 1 charge RN, 3 RNs, 1 EMT/Medic
• Patient ratios: depends on acuity assignment — 1:4; Vertical Care space — 1:6
• Equipment: Zoll Lifepaks, GE monitors, Stryker stretchers, Mobilab
• EMR: Meditech

Requirements

• Minimum 1-year current acute care hospital ED RN experience
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NIH, and ENPC certifications

Schedule

• Duration: 13 weeks
• 36 hours per week
• Shift: 12 hours
