The role requires working independently after orientation to ensure optimal patient outcomes and departmental efficiency. Job Details Position Description: ER RN Nights Hopkinsville, KY. Required Qualifications: Active RN license or compact eligibility, BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications. Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Department RN experience required. Must be comfortable working independently and caring for diverse patient populations across all acuity levels in a fast-paced environment. Schedule: 12-hour nights, 7 p.m. to 7 a.m., minimum of 36 hours per week. Preferred Qualifications: Epic experience; previous electronic medical record/charting experience. Responsibilities include assessment, triage, prioritization, and management of high-acuity and critically ill patients, including cardiac emergencies, stroke, sepsis, respiratory failure, trauma, behavioral health, and pediatric emergencies. Proficiency in IV initiation, medication administration, cardiac monitoring, emergency response, and multitasking are required. Additional Information: The assignment duration is 13 weeks, starting ASAP. The unit cares for approximately 90 patients daily and emphasizes teamwork, communication, and patient safety. The facility can cancel up to 36 hours within the 13-week period.
