Travel Nurse RN - ED - Emergency Department - $1,944 per week

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN for the Emergency Department in Gilbert, Arizona. The position requires 1‑2 years of recent acute care experience and involves working with a diverse team to evaluate, triage, and implement care using correct procedures and physician instructions.

Responsibilities

• Work with a diverse team of caregivers to appropriately evaluate, triage, and implement care using correct procedures and physician instructions
• Provide basic bedside care
• Clean and bandage wounds
• Provide IV therapy
• Maintain supplies and medical equipment
• Report suspected abuse to appropriate agencies
• Perform minor medical operations
• Advise patients and family on illnesses or injuries
• Plan long‑term care needs
• Document medical history
• Check for patient allergies
• Obtain patient vital signs
• Monitor patients' emotional and physical well‑being
• Stand and walk for long periods of time
• Bend, lean, and stoop without difficulty
• Easily lift 20 pounds; moving or lifting patients may require up to 50 pounds
• Cope with stress in a fast‑paced environment
• Relate to people of all ages and backgrounds

Requirements

• 1‑2 years recent acute care experience
• ACLS certification
• BLS certification
• PALS certification
• Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment

Pay

Pay package is based on 12‑hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

Shift: 12 hours, nights; 36 hours per week; start date 11/09/2026; assignment duration 13 weeks.
