Travel Nurse RN - ED - Emergency Department - $1,895 per week

About the role

Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) position in Tallahassee, FL. This role involves providing critical emergency nursing care in a fast-paced Emergency Department environment. The ER RN will deliver high-quality patient care, assist in lifesaving procedures, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure excellent patient outcomes.

Schedule

• 12-hour shifts, nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Minimum of 36 hours per week
• 13-week assignment starting 09/14/2026

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality emergency nursing care
• Assist in lifesaving procedures
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
• Perform procedures such as chest tubes, moderate sedation, lumbar puncture, laceration repair, and blood product administration
• Multi-task and focus on throughput in a 39-bed unit with a 1:4 patient ratio
• Conduct 30-minute bedside shift reports and patient rounding
• Utilize advanced technology including crash carts, Level One monitors, Alaris pumps, and Dash bedside cardiac monitors

Requirements

• Valid Florida state RN license
• Certifications: Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
• 3–5 years of ER experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with intubation and emergency lifesaving procedures

Pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
