The organization is seeking an Emergency Department Nurse located in Salem, Virginia. This position involves providing specialized nursing care in an emergency department setting.

Responsibilities

• Care for critically ill patients
• Provide specialized nursing care in an emergency department setting
• Work independently and as part of a team
• Perform typical procedures such as care for high and low acuity patients, medication administration, and laboratory assessments

Requirements

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
• Virginia (or valid state license)
• 0 years of experience
• ED nursing experience
• EMR experience with GE EMR and Meditech systems

Preferred Qualifications

• ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course)

Pay

The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
