Travel Nurse RN - ED - Emergency Department - $1,884 per week

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN for the Emergency Department (ED) in Independence, Iowa. The assignment is for 13 weeks, 34.5 hours per week on 12‑hour rotating shifts. Responsibilities

• Work with a diverse team of caregivers to evaluate, triage, and implement care using correct procedures and physician instructions.
• Perform minor medical operations.
• Advise patients and families on illnesses or injuries and plan long‑term care needs.
• Document medical history and check for patient allergies.
• Obtain patient vital signs and monitor emotional and physical well‑being.
• Provide basic bedside care.
• Clean and bandage wounds.
• Provide IV therapy.
• Maintain supplies and medical equipment.
• Report suspected abuse to appropriate agencies.

Requirements

• 1‑2 years of recent acute care experience.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (
