About the role

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department (ED) to provide care for patients with various illnesses or trauma requiring emergency attention. This role requires the ability to recognize and treat life-threatening conditions, assess and stabilize a variety of trauma and illnesses, and prioritize injuries based on medical need.

Responsibilities

• Assess, intervene, and stabilize patients with life-threatening conditions.
• Perform triage to prioritize injuries based on medical need.
• Make quick and accurate assessments of incoming patients, including physical and mental health conditions.
• Provide care for a wide range of medical conditions requiring urgent treatment.

Requirements

• Active RN license.
• Degree from an accredited nursing program.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications may be required.
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Emergency Room setting.

Pay

Pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
