HealthTrust Workforce Solutions HCA is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Corpus Christi, Texas.
Unit information
- Location: 7101 SPID, Corpus Christi, TX; ED 1st floor, Bay Area Emergency Department
- Number of beds: 16 with 8 hall chairs
- Number of staff: 6–7 per shift
- Staffing by shift:
- Day shift: 1 charge, 1 triage, 4–5 nurses (one mid-shift), 1 US, 1–2 techs
- Night shift: 1 charge, 1 triage, 4–5 nurses (one mid-shift), US 7pm–midnight, 1 tech
- Patient ratios: 1:4; low acuity ESI 4 & 5 may take 6
- Equipment: Cardiac monitors, Baxter IV pumps, HP's, Tonopen, and more
- EMR: Meditech; vital signs flow into chart
Requirements
- Compassion, urgency, and teamwork are essential
- Level II or Level III trauma experience
- TNCC, ENPC or PALS, ACLS, BLS
