- Number of Beds: 16 with 8 hall chairs
- Staffing per shift:
- Day Shift: 1 charge, 1 triage, 4–5 nurses (one mid-shift), 1 US, 1–2 techs
- Night Shift: 1 charge, 1 triage, 4–5 nurses (one mid-shift), US 7 pm–MN, 1 tech
- Patient Ratios: 1:4 (low acuity ESI 4 & 5; may take 6)
- Equipment: Cardiac monitors, Baxter IV pumps, HP’s, Tonopen
- EMR: Meditech; vital signs flow into chart
- Location: 7101 SPID, Corpus Christi, TX – ED 1st floor, Bay Area Emergency Department
Required skills and experience
- Level II or Level III trauma experience
- Certifications: TNCC, ENPC or PALS, ACLS, BLS
- Compassion, urgency, and teamwork
