About the role
Emergency Room (ER) Nurse at Northwest Medical Center. Provides high-quality emergency care to patients within a 38-bed Trauma Level III Certified emergency department. The RN is responsible for utilizing the Nursing Process to deliver safe, efficient, and compassionate care, demonstrating leadership and critical thinking skills in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Accountable for providing care to Emergency Room patients by utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies.
- Demonstrates critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership in planning for the safe delivery of care.
- Maintains clinical competencies through continuing education.
- Delegates patient care priorities appropriately and provides direction and supervision to assigned personnel.
Requirements
- Valid Arizona nursing license
- At least 2 years of emergency room experience
- American Heart Association (AHA) BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- Cerner Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience
- Ability to work dayshift from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM (12-hour shifts), minimum 36 hours per week
- Willingness to float within the facility
Preferred Qualifications
- Charge Nurse experience (additional $3/hr. incentive)

Pay
Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
