Travel Nurse RN - ED - Emergency Department - $1,723 per week

About the role

TotalMed is seeking an experienced Emergency Room RN for a travel nursing position in Rock Hill, SC. The right candidate should have recent acute care experience and be prepared to work in a fast-paced, urgent care environment.

Responsibilities

• Work with a diverse team of caregivers to appropriately evaluate, triage, and implement care using correct procedures and physician instructions
• Perform minor medical operations
• Advise patients and families on illnesses or injuries
• Plan long-term care needs
• Document medical history
• Check for patient allergies
• Obtain patient vital signs
• Monitor patients' emotional and physical well-being
• Provide basic bedside care
• Clean and bandage wounds
• Provide IV therapy
• Maintain supplies and medical equipment
• Report suspected abuse to appropriate agencies

Requirements

• 1-2 years recent acute care experience
• ACLS, BLS, PALS, CPI, NIH certifications
• 2 years of experience (minimum)
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods
• Ability to bend, lean, and stoop without difficulty
• Ability to easily lift 20 pounds; moving or lifting patients may require lifting up to 50 pounds at times
• Good coping skills for stress
• Ability to relate to people of all ages and backgrounds
• Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment

Schedule

• 13-week duration
• 36 hours per week
• 12-hour night shifts
• Start date: September 28, 2026
