About the role

AMN Healthcare Nursing is seeking an experienced ER RN for a travel nursing assignment in Charlotte, NC. This position is at a Magnet-recognized teaching hospital known for its comprehensive emergency services and patient-centered care. The shift is 12 hours, nights.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care in a fast-paced emergency department
• Utilize strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills
• Work proficiently with electronic medical records (EMR)
• Float within Region 2, which includes Pineville, Anson, Union, Union West, Central Division (CMC Main + CMC Mercy + Levine Children’s Hospital)

Requirements

• Valid RN license
• BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications (copies required)
• NIH Stroke Scale certification (copy required)
• Crisis Prevention Intervention certification (copy required)
• At least 2 years of recent emergency room experience
• At least 1 previous travel assignment in General RN (Compact license accepted)
• Skills checklist within the last 12 months
• 1 professional reference from the last 12 months
• Previous travel reference within the last 12 months
• Willingness to float within the specified region
• SSN and date of birth required

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a Level I trauma center
• TNCC or CEN certifications

Pay

Pay rate: $1,682.00 - $1,768.00 per week (based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week, subject to confirmation). Tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
