Job Summary
The Professional Staff Nurse is a Registered Nurse and a member of the care delivery team responsible for setting care standards and providing nursing care. The nurse manages and delivers activities for a group of patients and their families through independent judgment, communication, and collaboration with all team members.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain high standards of clinical excellence and patient safety
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Manage and deliver activities for a group of patients and their families
- Apply the nursing process within the framework of Relationship Based Care
- Create a healing environment, respond as a fully engaged team member, provide patient and family teaching, develop productive relationships, and communicate safety hazards effectively
Required Qualifications
- RN license
- BSN preferred
- 2 years of ER experience
- Certified Basic Life Support (BLS)
- PA Act 31, PA Act 33, PA Act 34, PA Act 73, Basic Cardiac Dysrhythmia Interpretation certifications
Schedule
Rotating shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.

Pay Package
The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
