About the role
The emergency room (ER) specialty position is located in Lithonia, Georgia. This role involves providing critical care in a high-volume ER setting, with a focus on delivering urgent medical services during night shifts. The position requires dedicated healthcare professionals ready to support acute patient needs in a fast-paced environment.
Schedule
- Night shifts, 12 hours per shift
- Minimum of 36 hours per week
Responsibilities
- Adhere to the SOPs of the emergency department
- Participate in continuous education
- Maintain compliance with all safety and patient care standards
- Float rotation may be required
Requirements
- Certification in emergency nursing or related field
- Current Georgia state license
- 1 year of experience in emergency care or a similar environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Additional certifications such as TNCC or ENPC
- Experience working in a busy ER setting
- Proficiency with electronic medical record systems
