Travel Nurse RN - ED - Emergency Department - $1,662 per week

VyTalent Solutions is seeking a Registered Nurse for an Emergency Department travel assignment in Asheville, North Carolina.

About the role

This is a 13-week contract position in a busy Level 2 trauma and comprehensive stroke center. The role involves providing high-quality nursing care to emergency department patients, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and maintaining flexibility to float within ED sections as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to emergency department patients.
• Perform procedures including cardiac monitoring, use of GE monitors, and medication administration via Baxter pumps.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety, comfort, and positive experience, adhering to AIDET and respectful behavior protocols.
• Document patient information accurately in Cerner system.
• Maintain certifications including ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, NIHSS, and ENPC (within 90 days if not already certified).
• Float within ED sections as needed, supporting all areas and maintaining flexibility.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members, updating boards and information throughout patient visits.
• Contribute to a welcoming, team-oriented environment serving a multicultural community with over 120 languages spoken.
