Travel Nurse RN - CVOR - $2,982 per week

Job Description & Requirements

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN CVOR for a 13-week assignment in Southaven, Mississippi. The start date is August 3, 2026, and the shift is 8 hours per day.

• 40 hours per week
• Cardiovascular/Cardiothoracic surgical procedures
• Open and closed heart surgeries
• Equipment assembly
• Collaboration with surgical team
• Sterile procedures
• Post-surgical care coordination
• Emergency response

Required Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a CVOR RN
• RN license in compliance with state regulations
• BLS (AHA/ARC) certification

Preferred Qualifications

• ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification

Essential Work Functions

• Maintain proficiency in CVOR procedures
• Prepare Cardiovascular operating room
• Assemble equipment, supplies, medications, and implants
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, perfusionists, and the surgical team
• Utilize surgical preference cards
• Position patients safely
• Document specimens accurately
• Coordinate post-surgical care
• Follow sterile procedures
• Respond to emergencies
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulatory standards

• Sensory - possessing visual acuity and ability to effectively communicate
