Travel Nurse RN - CVOR - $2,996 per week
Job Description
Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel CVOR RN for a 13-week assignment in Asheville, North Carolina. The position offers competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, and support from a dedicated clinical team.
Requirements
- One year of recent experience as a CVOR RN
- Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification
- ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification preferred

Essential Work Functions
- Maintain proficiency in Cardiovascular/Cardiothoracic surgical procedures
- Prepare the Cardiovascular operating room for the patient and surgical procedure
- Assemble equipment, supplies, medications, and implants, ensuring equipment functions and supplies are available
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, perfusionists, and the surgical team to deliver coordinated care
- Utilize data from surgical preference cards for the surgical procedure and surgeon
- Maintain sterile procedures throughout the course of surgery
- Respond effectively to emergencies during surgery
- Handle and document specimens accurately
- Provide post-surgical care coordination
- Absorb and evaluate the nursing care of the patient before, during, and after a surgical procedure until patient handoff to the next phase of care
- Assist with immediate post-surgical continued patient care

- The ability to possess visual acuity and ability to effectively communicate
