- Required Qualifications
- Active Washington RN License or Compact RN License
- CVOR experience required
- General OR experience in addition to cardiac surgery experience
- Current AHA BLS
- Current AHA ACLS
- Clinical Responsibilities
- Circulate and provide nursing care for cardiovascular and general surgical procedures
- Develop, implement, and reassess individualized patient care plans
- Administer medications and treatments
- Perform ongoing patient assessments
- Coordinate discharge planning and patient education
- Accurately document assessments, interventions, and outcomes
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and the multidisciplinary team
- Delegate tasks appropriately and supervise assistive personnel
- Participate in quality improvement and performance initiatives
- Maintain a safe, clean surgical environment
- Floating
- May float according to staffing needs
- Must be willing to float as a patient sitter when assigned
- Additional Requirements
- Practice in accordance with the Washington Nurse Practice Act
- Maintain current knowledge of evidence-based practices and department workflows
- Adhere to Confluence Health policies and unit standards
