About the Role

Malone Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN CVOR for HCA Florida Bayonet Point Hospital in Hudson, Florida. Target start date is September 1, 2026.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in the Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR).
• Float to the Main OR as needed.
• Work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital employees.
• Adhere to unit policies, including dress code (Navy Blue scrubs for RNs).

Requirements

• Minimum 5+ years of CVOR experience.
• Main OR experience required.
• Active RN license and standard nursing credentials.
• Willingness to float to the Main OR.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience scrubbing in procedures.
• Meditech EMR experience.

Unit Overview

• 12-suite OR with 2 dedicated CVOR suites.
• 1:1 patient ratio.
• Day shift staffing: 4 RNs and 4 CSTs; night shift covers on-call hours.
• Procedures performed: CABG, valve replacements, thoracic cases, and vascular surgeries.
• Charting system: Meditech EMR.
• Free parking available (except ER parking lot).

Schedule

• Shift: Days (6:00 AM – 2:30 PM), Monday – Friday.
• Expected to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation.
