Travel Nurse RN - CVOR - $2,602 per week
About the Role
Malone Healthcare is seeking a Travel Nurse RN for the Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) at St. Joseph's Hospital & Medical Center in Phoenix, Arizona. This is a 13-week travel assignment starting on September 17, 2026, with a target start date of September 14, 2026.
Schedule
- 40 hours per week
- 10-hour day shifts (0630–1700), Monday–Friday
Responsibilities
The CVOR unit handles a variety of complex cases, including:
- Open heart
- Vascular
- Endo
- Thoracic
- Esophageal
- General
- Hepatobiliary
- Transplants (lung, liver, and kidney)
The unit consists of 6 ORs and 1 Hybrid OR, averaging ~7 cases per day (max 15 per day). Charting is done via Cerner/Surginet EMR.
Requirements
- Minimum 6 months of Level 1 trauma experience
- Active AZ or compact RN license
- Required certifications: BLS and ACLS (CNOR preferred)
- Strict 50-mile radius rule (driver’s license is the source of truth; no local rates)
