Travel Nurse RN - CVOR - $2,376 per week

Job Description

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel CVOR RN for a 13-week assignment in Rock Hill, South Carolina. The position requires one year of recent CVOR RN experience, current BLS certification, and ACLS certification preferred.

Requirements

• One year of recent experience as a CVOR RN
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification
• Preferred ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Cardiovascular/Cardiothoracic surgical procedures, including open and closed heart surgeries. They should be proficient in assembling equipment, supplies, medications, and implants, ensuring they are sterile and functional.

Essential Work Functions

• Maintain proficiency in Cardiovascular/Cardiothoracic surgical procedures
• Prepare the Cardiovascular operating room for the patient and surgical procedure
• Assemble equipment, supplies, medications, and implants, ensuring equipment functions and supplies are available
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, perfusionists, and the surgical team to deliver coordinated care
• Utilize data from surgical preference cards for the surgical procedure and surgeon
• Maintain sterile procedures throughout the course of surgery
• Respond effectively to emergencies, such as cardiac arrest, during surgery
• Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of the position

• Technical/Motor skills - Must have the ability to grasp, perform fine manipulation, push/pull, and move about when assisting with procedures and/or using department equipment
• Mental requirements - Must be able to cope with frequent contact with the general public and customers while meeting deadlines under pressure. Must be able to work under close supervision occasionally, as well as working without assistance from other personnel. Must be able to contend with irregular activity schedules occasionally and continuous concentration to detail
• Sensory - Must possess visual acuity and ability to effectively communicate
