Travel Nurse RN - CVICU - $3,355 per week

About the role

The Intensive Care Unit Cardiovascular (ICU OH) registered nurse position is based in Ewa Beach, Hawaii. This role involves providing highly specialized patient care within the cardiovascular intensive care setting. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to delivering exceptional nursing services and supporting patient recovery through skilled clinical practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide highly specialized nursing care in a cardiovascular intensive care unit.
• Float to similar or lesser acuity areas as needed (e.g., Telemetry, Med/Surg, Emergency Department holds, Post Anesthesia Care Unit holds).
• Perform nursing assistant or safety sitter duties if no ICU RN is needed on the primary unit.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
• Active, unencumbered Hawaii registered nurse license.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or Healthcare Provider (HCP), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications.
• Must pass EKG exam with 80% or better during orientation.
• All licenses and certifications must be valid from application submission through the duration of the initial contract.
• Current NURSYS report required at submission.
• Compliance documentation must be completed no later than 10 days prior to the start date.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Medical/Surgical/Mixed ICU or CRRT.
• Previous Queen's Health System traveler experience.
• Specialty certification(s) such as CCRN.

Schedule

• 12-hour day shifts.
• Minimum of 48 hours per week.
• Duration: 16 weeks.
• Start Date: 08/31/2026.

Pay

Pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 48 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
