Travel Nurse RN - CVICU - $3,070 per week

About the role

• 13-week travel contract in Cottondale, Alabama
• Night shift: 7p–7a, 12-hour shifts
• 36 or 48 hours per week; every other weekend and holidays
• Bill rate: $80/hour
• Overtime paid after 48 hours, regardless of 36- or 48-hour schedule
• 16 hours non-billable orientation
• Local candidates accepted with no rate difference

Responsibilities

• Care for post-op cardiac, thoracic, vascular, and complex surgical patients in a Cardiac Surgical ICU
• Perform invasive hemodynamic monitoring
• Float to other units and hospitals as needed
• Complete Meditech charting
• Pass a dysrhythmia exam (2 attempts allowed; failure results in contract cancellation)
• Facility may cancel up to 4 shifts per contract

Requirements

• 2+ years of recent CVICU experience
• ASN degree required
• AHA BLS and NIHSS certifications required
• PALS preferred for pediatric assignments
• Active AL or Compact RN license in hand (no temporary licenses)
• Strong critical-care skills
