About the role
GTT Healthcare Staffing Solutions is seeking a travel RN for a CVICU position in Worcester, Massachusetts. The role is a travel nursing assignment with a start date of October 10, 2026, a typical duration of 26 weeks (optional contract lengths of 13, 20, or 26 weeks), 36 hours per week, and night shift employment.
Responsibilities
- Work in a 16‑bed high‑acuity Cardiac Surgery ICU managing patients undergoing CABG, valve repairs, vascular surgery, and advanced heart failure.
- Float to other adult ICUs as needed due to no block scheduling.
Requirements
- Active Massachusetts RN license (conditional MA license accepted if application is in progress).
- Minimum 2.5 years of dedicated CVICU / Cardiac Surgery ICU experience.
Skills
- Experience with Mechanical Circulatory Support (IABP, Impella, ECMO, VAD).
- Proficiency with Swan‑Ganz catheters, CVVH, and vasoactive drip titration.
Qualifications
- Epic EMR required.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Must pass a telemetry test during orientation (one attempt allowed).

Schedule
36 hours per week, 12‑hour night shifts. Shift pattern: Night 3×12s (19:00 – 07:30) with every other weekend worked.
