Travel Nurse RN - CVICU - $2,890 per week

About the role

The Intensive Care Unit Cardiovascular nurse is needed for a 26-week assignment in a specialized hospital unit that provides 24-hour monitoring and advanced care for patients recovering from complex heart, lung, and vascular surgeries or managing severe cardiac and respiratory conditions. The position involves rotating day and night shifts, with a focus on high-acuity patient care in a Level 1 trauma environment.

Requirements

• Valid ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification from the American Heart Association
• Valid BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from the American Heart Association
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience, with at least 2 years in the Cardiac Thoracic Intensive Care Unit (CT/CVICU)
• Travel experience
• Familiarity with EPIC electronic health record system
• Completion of at least a 6-month separation from the organization

Qualifications

• Experience in a Level 1 trauma setting (preferred)
• Travel experience (preferred)
• Proficiency with EPIC systems (preferred)

Skills

• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• EPIC electronic health record proficiency
