Travel Nurse RN - CVICU - $2,695 per week
Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) in Baltimore, MD. The position involves providing specialized care for patients recovering from cardiac surgery, cardiac transplantation, lung transplantation, ventricular assist device placement, and other complex procedures in a dedicated cardiovascular surgical intensive care unit.
Responsibilities
- Provide specialized care for post-op cardiac surgery patients in a CVICU setting
- Manage patients requiring Vent, CRRT, Swan, Epicardial wires/pacemakers, vasoactive gtts titration, level 1 IABP, and ECMO
- Float rotation may be required
Requirements
- Active RN License
- BLS certification
- Current experience with recovery of post-op cardiac surgery patients in an ICU setting
Preferred Qualifications
- ACLS certification
- Critical Care Certification
- Trauma course certification
- EPIC certification
Job Details
- 18-bed unit with nurse/patient ratio typically 1:1 or 1:2
- Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, 36 hours per week
- Start Date: 08/17/2026
- Duration: 17 weeks
- Employment Type: Travel
