Travel Nurse RN - CVICU - $2,685 per week

Job Summary

The organization is seeking a registered nurse specialized in Intensive Care Unit Cardiovascular (ICU OH) in Baltimore, Maryland. This role involves providing care for patients recovering from cardiac surgical procedures within a dedicated Cardiovascular Surgical Intensive Care Unit. The candidate will participate in a dynamic, fast-paced environment focused on post-operative cardiac patient recovery.

Job Details

• Schedule: Rotating shift; 12 hours per shift; minimum 36 hours per week; start date on 08/17/2026.

Required Qualifications

• RN license
• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Current experience with recovery of post-op cardiac surgery patients in an ICU setting, including ventilation management, Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT), Swan-Ganz catheter, Epicardial wires/pacemakers, vasoactive drip titration, level 1 Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP), and Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation (ECMO).

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• Critical Care Certification
• Trauma course
• Epic electronic health record system familiarity

Additional Information

• The unit is an 18-bed facility providing care for patients undergoing cardiac surgery, cardiac transplantation, lung transplantation, ventricular assist device placement, and other complex procedures.
• Nurse-to-patient ratio is typically 1:1 or 1:2.

Pay Package
