Travel Nurse RN - CVICU - $2,520 per week

Fusion Medical Staffing is recruiting a travel nurse RN for a CVICU position in New Brunswick, New Jersey. The position is for 13 weeks, starting August 3, 2026, and works 36 hours per week, 12-hour shifts, night shift.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor critically ill patients
• Administer complex medications and treatments
• Operate and manage advanced life support equipment
• Ensure patient safety and comfort
• Document all assessments, interventions, and patient responses
• Communicate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Provide education to patients and families
• Maintain proficiency in critical care procedures and technologies
• Adhere to infection control protocols

Requirements

• One year of recent experience as a CVICU RN
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) and ACLS (AHA/ARC) certifications

Qualifications

• Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) certification preferred
• TNCC, NIHSS certification preferred
• Other certifications or licenses may be required for this position
