Travel Nurse RN - CVICU - $2,500 per week

ICU (Intensive Care Unit) Cardiovascular Nurse in North Charleston, SC. This position involves providing specialized critical care to a diverse adult patient population in a 28-bed mixed ICU setting. The role requires delivering high-quality nursing services, including managing ventilated patients, performing advanced hemodynamics, and supporting post-operative cardiac procedures in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Care for 1–3 ICU patients
• Manage ventilators and perform advanced hemodynamics
• Support post-operative cardiac procedures (e.g., CABG, Impella, balloon pumps, Swan Ganz)
• Provide neuro critical care for aneurysmal hemorrhage
• Read telemetry strips and perform neuro procedures
• Float to the emergency department and Progressive Care Unit as needed
• Handle complex neuro and cardiovascular cases, including CRRT and bedside shift reports
• Participate in training opportunities for neuro ICU or cardiovascular ICU specialties
• Assist with head/neck flap procedures

Requirements

• 36 months of RN experience
• At least one year of ICU experience
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale
• Proficiency in Meditech electronic documentation system

Qualifications

• BSN degree (preferred)
• Advanced certifications such as TNCC (preferred)
• Prior travel nursing experience in a facility using Meditech (preferred)

Schedule

• 12-hour night shifts
• 48 hours per week
• Start date: 10/05/2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
